Dental Diagnostic Instruments

Dental diagnostic instruments are the hand instruments a dentist uses to look inside the mouth and assess the teeth and gums during an examination. The core set is the mouth mirror, the dental explorer, the periodontal probe, and cotton pliers, often with tweezers and a tongue or cheek retractor.
