METZENBAUM BipoJET® Bipolar Dissecting Scissors are reusable electrosurgical instruments designed for controlled tissue dissection and cutting with compatible bipolar electrosurgical equipment. This compact model features curved geometry, delicate blades, blunt/blunt tips, and an insulated construction. Its overall length is 120 mm (4 3/4″). The scissors are supplied non-sterile and require appropriate cleaning, inspection, and sterilization before clinical use according to the manufacturer’s instructions and validated healthcare facility procedures.

Design and Application

The curved profile provides an angled approach to the working area, while the delicate blades distinguish this model from scissors with a more robust blade design. The blunt/blunt tip configuration describes the shape of both blade tips. Handling and Care

Before first use and after each subsequent use, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and validated facility procedures for cleaning, rinsing, drying, inspection, and sterilization. Inspect the delicate blades, curved section, joint, and insulation carefully. Do not use if damaged.
